**New track for 2012**
The RAW MX Facility has offered their land to Race on this weekend and they are very excited to host this venue. Please make sure you tell them how much they are appreciated.
Track Director Cory Squire reports:
“RAW is a MX Track and has a variety of terrain. New trails have been added utilizing more of the wooded areas of the property. There are up and down hill sections, fairly tight tree sections, some fast flowing sections, a few small jumps, a few hill climbs, and as many natural challenges as possible. The tight sections are broken up with some more open sections so you can get a breather or fly. This track will be shared with the Minis so PLEASE USE CAUTION. As far as camping, there is plenty of room and the parking/camping area is extremely easy to access. There are not any hookups If you have any other questions just ask and I hope you join us at RAW I think it is a fun track layout to ride as well as challenging”.
Wild weather was the story of Round 7. Quad riders got in a good day of racing before storms blew in overnight causing much distress and some damage to awnings and the covered area over the motocross starting gates. The stormy weather continued the next morning with some showers during the morning mini races. The afternoon big bike races, though, were clear and hot. The consensus seems to be that everyone really enjoyed this track which combined cross country and motocross.
Please no LOOPING OF MOTO CROSS TRACK. Enter from Cross Country Track and EXIT to Cross Country Track.
THE GATE WILL OPEN AT 12 NOON on Friday
