Race
Round Details
This year's event will be missing a few technical sections, but adding some nice flowing and high speed sections to balance out the rocky terrain. More daring riders can take the endurocross hard line shortcut and entertain spectators while taking a ski jump over a water trap! Successful navigation of the obstacle course will earn the rider a quicker trip to the nearby scoring chute.
For those that like to spectate and photo shoot, Fry Lake offers a very spectator friendly track. Roads and trails will help you access interesting spectator points such as hill climbs and rocky sections.
Well the drought continues and so do the hot and dry conditions. Though not as hot as 2011, this year's Fry Lake race was once again dusty. With the dry conditions, the sandy sections were closer to powder. The creek section provided some relief with dirt that actually contained a little bit of moisture. Overall, Dave and crew tamed this track quite a bit from previous outings. Hopefully future races will bring some more favorable conditions!
