2018 Rd 07 Williams Ranch

We return for our 9th visit to Skiatook for Round 7. Williams Ranch in Skiatook has a nice mix of elevation change, creek crossings, some high speed sections, and some rocks.

This round is sponsored by 3S TEAM, LLC. Thank you to them for their support this season, and for purchasing over 150 awards for this round.

Big Black’s BBQ will be out food vendor this round, so be sure to pay them a visit and support them coming out to the race. They have some great food, so be sure to visit them for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

E.J. Images will be sponsoring a special event on Saturday evening. We will be having Water Balloon Jousting!!! For this event, there will be a line of cones. Two bikes/quads will drive toward each other on opposite sides of the cones with a water balloon. They will throw their balloon at each other. 1 point for hitting your opponent, but if they hit above the neck the person throwing is DQ’ed. Tournament style, $1 per entry. It will be hot this round, so this will be a fun way to cool off. This will take place at 6:30pm Saturday evening.

Speaking of the heat, as of now it looks like they are expecting triple digit heat for Friday and Saturday, so be sure to stay hydrated all week to be prepared for the heat.

At 7pm on Saturday evening, we invite anyone and everyone to attend the Bible Study at the scoring trailer.

Just a reminder, the gates open at 3pm on Friday, and we ask that racers do not show up before that time. Also, it is imperative that we, OCCRA members, begin doing a better job of cleaning up all trash at the race venues. PLEASE be sure to leave the property better than when we arrive.

We will see you all at Round 7, June 2nd and 3rd. Please share this post.
