Get ready for a fun mix of sand, woods, hill climbs and fast open field sections....with a bit of motocross track mixed in.  Did we mention there was some sand?  Woodward always proves to be more and more interesting with each new race season, so expect some of your favorite stuff from years past along with new challenges!

From OKC:

  1. Take I-40 W towards Amarillo.
  2. Take the US-281 Spur N exit (Exit 108).
  3. Turn Right onto US-281.
  4. US-281 Spur N becomes US-281N/OK-8N, follow it 21 miles.
  5. Turn left onto US-270 W/US-281 N/OK-3 W/OK-33 W and continue to follow US-270 northwest for 64.5 miles. (US-270 Turns into US-270/US-183 after Seiling).
  6. Turn on to country road (N2080 Rd) and head north for 1.8 miles.
  7. Turn right on country road (E0430 Rd) and follow to the dead end (approx 3.1 miles)

From Tulsa:

  1. Take US-412 W to Mooreland (approx 190 miles).
  2. From the corner of OK50 and US-412, continue west for 5.3 miles.
  3. Turn south on country road (N2080 Rd) and travel approx. 130-150 yards.
  4. Turn left (east) on country road (E0400 Rd) and follow road till it turns south into country road (N2090 Rd) and travel 2.75 miles to country road (E0430 Rd).
  5. Turn left (east) and follow road approx 2.32 miles until dead end.

From 34/270 junction:

  1. Follow paved road East 5.25 miles till dead end.

Rd 9: Fry Lake

Expect a rocky event for OCCRA's last round before summer break.  This year's event will be missing a few technical sections, but adding some nice flowing and high speed sections to balance out the rocky terrain.  More daring riders can take the endurocross hard line shortcut and entertain spectators while traversing logs, tires, a rock garden and a ski jump over a water trap!  Successful navigation of the obstacle course will earn the rider a quicker trip to the nearby scoring chute.

For those that like to spectate and photo shoot, Fry Lake offers a very spectator friendly track.  Roads and trails will help you access interesting spectator points such as hill climbs and, of course, the creek jump!

  1. Take I-40 to exit 200
  2. Turn South on Highway 377.
  3. Go 9.4 miles to Highway 9 (Wrangler Blvd).
  4. Turn left & go East 6.2 miles to entrance on the left.
